Local and National Events

Members' meetings are arranged throughout the country by local groups of IA. A medical adviser or stoma care nurse is often present to give advice if necessary and there may be a guest speaker, either on a medical subject or one of general interest.

Appliance displays are often included at members' meetings, with representatives from the manufacturing companies present to give advice, demonstrations, offer samples, and answer any questions about their products.
